First Consultation to the client’s Home or Workplace includes : One visit for up to one hour in return for the clients full contact details (name, address, telephone and email address) and those of two referrals. Travel time and expenses for up to fifteen miles from Menston, West Yorkshire (after which, car expenses will be charged)
Hands-On Help is the practical service I provide in sorting, tidying and clearing of clutter. It includes discussion, creating action plans, designing storage, researching resources and planning for ongoing maintenance
Hours
Normal working hours are between 0900 and 1800 Monday to Friday
The daily rate is charged for travel and work within these hours
An extra charge may be made for work outside these hours
Phone A Friend is a telephone counselling service in half hour sessions
The sessions must be scheduled and paid for in advance
Problem Solving by post or email must be paid for in advance
Booking and Payment
Bookings for a direct Hands-On Help session can be made by phone or email
A £50 cheque deposit to be made payable to Angie Griffin. A full postal address and landline phone number are to be provided by the client
After a consultation a 50% deposit is required for services booked and materials to be ordered Payment for the remaining amounts are due at the end of the Hands-on Help session in cash or by cheque. A receipt will be given. Any free vouchers offered are redeemable against Hands-On Help I provide myself at the client’s premises and are not redeemable against the products such as the Binder or Booklets, telephone or email service or as a deposit for further sessions
Expenses
No charge is made for travel of up to fifteen miles from Menston, West Yorkshire by car. Mileage over 15 miles is charged at 40p per mile
Extra travel time, over a total time of one hour is charged by the hour
Overnight accommodation and meals are charged at cost or by prior agreement
Estimates
An estimate includes all hourly rates, outside services, travel expenses if appropriate, special requirements such as packing boxes and materials, disposal products and cleaning materials
On accepting the estimate and the terms and conditions the client is required to pay a 50% deposit to secure the services
Any purchases made on behalf of the client will require prior payment and an hourly fee will be charged for personal shopping
Cancellation and Rescheduling
48 hours notice is required to cancel a Hands-On session
The deposit is non-refundable unless a mutually convenient time can be rearranged within one month. The cost of any items or materials ordered and delivered cannot be returned
A charge will be made to deliver these items to the client
Time allocated phone bookings require 48 hours postponement notice
Deposits and fees are non-refundable if the client is not available at the arranged time
Property and Possessions
I cannot give estimates for the value of clients’ possessions.
It is recommended that the client seeks a professional opinion
Before disposal of any possessions the client must check for any items they wish to keep. I cannot accept responsibility for any items after they are removed from the client’s premises
Health and Safety
No smoking in rooms where work is being carried out or in areas where packing materials are being stored Loft areas cannot be entered unless they have a fixed ladder, are safely boarded over and have adequate lighting
Advice
I cannot accept any responsibility for actions taken by clients on my advice nor be held responsible for consequential loss Outside contractors are the full and legal responsibility of the client and their credentials should be checked by the client
Confidentiality
I shall treat every aspect of discussions, sessions and personal data with the utmost discretion and never divulge information to third parties without the express permission of the client

I aim to provide a competent, efficient and friendly service However, if you are not happy with the service in any way please contact me and I shall endeavour to put things right. Your satisfaction with the project is of great importance to me
